LOCATION
Our house is located in the town of Calonge in the region of the Baix Empordà of Girona, part of the Costa Brava.
Costa Brava is a coastal region of Catalonia in Northeast Spain consisting of the Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà and Selva. Calonge is located about one hour and fifieen minutes North from Barcelona airport, 30 minutes East from Girona airport and 35 minutes East of the high-speed train station (AVE) in Girona. Calonge is divided in two sections, the medieval old town, which is about 10 minute walk from the house and the beach town (Sant Antoni de Calonge), which is 8 minute drive from the house. The town has about 11000 peop1e.
